Shakira joined Jennifer Lopez in making a fashion statement during their performance at the 2020 Super Bowl. The Colombian singer had several outfit changes throughout her set, which added to the excitement of the halftime show. She collaborated with Norwegian designer Peter Dundas to create custom-made designs for her performance at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium. During her opening song, “She Wolf,” Shakira wore a red two-piece skirt set that included a cropped bustier top with criss-cross straps and a removable corset. She accessorized with matching arm cuffs and a pair of customized $20,000 boots featuring 30,000 Swarovski crystals by The Dan Life. Fans on Twitter noticed that Shakira’s sparkly red outfit resembled the clothing worn by her character Gazelle in the 2016 animated Disney movie “Zootopia.” Nicolas Bru, her stylist, described the crystals as being the perfect combination of sophistication and playfulness, much like Shakira herself.

Shakira wowed the crowd with her guitar-playing skills before changing up her look. She shed her corset and opted for a bolder outfit while treating the audience to a stunning performance of her hit songs “Ojos AsÔ and “Whenever, Wherever,” complete with a belly-dancing solo.
The artist decided to switch things up once more and ditched her feathered skirt right before teaming up with Bad Bunny on stage to perform their hit track “I Like It”. The catchy song was initially released by the Puerto Rican rapper along with Cardi B and J Balvin.
After singing two hit songs, “Chantaje” and “Hips Don’t Lie,” Shakira exited the stage for a short while so Jennifer Lopez could take over the halftime show. The dazzling outfit, including a crystal-encrusted set and bomber jacket, was created by Peter Dundas. Shakira finished off her look with a pair of Adidas Superstar trainers covered in Swarovski crystals.
