Dua Lipa has a busy schedule – not least because she’s an international pop star. But our girl is getting even busier: She just decided to start her own book club and made the big announcement on Instagram, along with several pictures of herself reading.
“SERVICE95 BOOK CLUB!!!” she wrote. “For as long as I can remember I’ve taken a book with me wherever I go. Reading is an incredibly important part of my life and one of my greatest joys. I am very excited to start the @service95 Book Club where we can share our joy of discovery. Each month we’ll be going deeper into our Book of the Month, with author interviews, features that add context to the book, recommended further reading, and more! I am so happy to read with you @service95.”
Cut to pH๏tos of the 27-year-old singer, who reads almost everywhere – she shows off her taut abs in a sequined thong biκini as she reads in a tree by the water; She holds a book next to her strong legs in what appears to be a H๏tel room. lounging on a towel in another biκini; on the plane, on the couch, on another plane… it’s clear Dua loves to read!
People cheered for her in the comments. “The Lipa Library is now open,” wrote one. While another said: “We love a wise queen .” Himself British Vogue The editor-in-chief chimed in: “I can’t wait for the book club .”
The book club is super exciting, but it’s hard to miss that Dua looks super fit in all the pics too. What is she doing to stay strong?
First of all, she deals intensively with yoga. Check out this video of her doing a tripod headstand and just don’t be fooled:
She also did this tripod headstand crow pose in front of an amazing landscape last year:
However, that’s not all she does for her fitness. In fact, Dua shared viva in 2018 that she tries to “exercise as much as I can.”
“It’s such a busy lifestyle that I feel like I have to try to do something for myself every day,” she said. “I love doing something really quick and quick, like a 15 minute HIIT session that I can do before I start my day. If I have to call very early, I don’t want to get up hours earlier to train. So a high-intensity workout, shower, breakfast and off you go.”
However, when she has more time, she says she likes to “combine a lot of different workouts” and find new workouts in the city she’s in. This can be yoga along with Pilates, boxing or spinning. “Whatever it is, I try to change it up every day to keep it interesting,” she said.
Dua is a morning exerciser, and she told Refinery29 it gives her a mental boost too. “When I exercise physically, my day starts off really well,” she said. Dancing is also a part of it, and Dua says, “I like to devote my cardio to dancing.”
Dua’s trainer Sora Connor previously shared it women health that she and Dua always train their entire body. “Sometimes the emphasis is more on the core, sometimes on the glutes,” she said. “The main goal is to train the muscles to become strong and toned, but the focus is on creating a long, lean line.”
I mean mission accomplished!
